Ninjapost Express: Silent Delivery

New year, new Jam, with this project executed in a week of sacrifice, I hope you will enjoy it. (Tested and optimized as much as possible for Meta Quest 1, so I hope it will work smoothly for Meta Quest 2 owners.)

In a world where technology has taken over, you, the last remaining ninja of your clan, are forced to work to survive, and the only job you can do with dexterity and speed is the mailman.

But watch out, nowadays the people you meet will do anything to steal the packages you are delivering!

Will you be able to bring out the ninja in you by delivering packages in the fastest and most stylish way? Or will you be overwhelmed by the greed of the futuristic world?

Stand up for yourself and show everyone that you are the best by submitting your scores to the global leaderboard!

Game commands:

Left Controller: 

• Left Thumbstick - Movement
• Left Thumbstick Button - Sprint
• X - Slow Motion
• Y - Grapple Gun
• Left Grip - Grab
• Left Trigger - Interact with Grabbed object

Right Controller:

• Right Thumbstick - Rotation
• B - Grapple Gun
• A - Jump
• Left Grip - Grab
• Left Trigger - Interact with grabbed objects

Game Modes:

Within the game, there are a total of 3 Levels that alternate with different game modes, which are:

Time-based:

Timer - Timer based level, when the time runs out, if you have not finished the game, it will be ended automatically by calculating the score obtained so far.

Stopwatch - Time will continue until you finish the level, at the end based on the time you run, scores will be calculated.

Different Goals

All Together - The package delivery posts will all be shown from the beginning, giving the player a way to quickly analyze and execute a strategy to make the highest score.

One by One - The delivery posts will be activated one after another, so you need to have a sense of direction and speed of thought to be able to get the best score by improvising

Enemies

I nemici faranno di tutto per ostacolarvi, dal prendervi a pugni e a calci, fino ad arrivare ad usare armi da fuoco.

Un consiglio? Cercate di evitarli il piu possibile.

In-game items:

Delivery places - In the game, the places where you will have to deliver packages will be highlighted by vertical beams of light, where at the base is precisely the delivery point (if there is nothing at the base of the beam, perhaps the delivery point is underground)

Grapple Gun - These will always be available to you, but beware, you have one shot per grappling hook and reload times are slowed, use with caution. Also you can use them only on Blue Spatial Spheres in the Sky.

Firework Jet - A ninja's best friend is a rocket, right? With this item you can hurtle for a short time, into the skies of the city to speed your deliveries, but this item also has a slow reload time.

Shuriken - Your only trusted companion you can rely on to be able to neutralize those who hinder your work.

Floating Rings - Around the map, floating rings will appear, which if touched, will award a bonus score to the player.

Climbing Objects - In some places on the map, it will be mandatory to use these objects, marked by the color yellow. You will have to use them to climb and shorten the distance to your goal. 

Score Calculation

At the end of a level (by victory or time expired) a score calculation will be performed, which will be based on these values:

• - Number of packages delivered
• - Number of floating rings obtained
• - Time left/executed
• - Number of faints

From these will be derived the total score, which can be sent to the global leaderboard.
